BACK IN DAYS

When I was a kid, I’m so excited to see the town, see the market, people, jeepneys, and the plaza. I used to attend school in the town while we are living in a village called Agdahon, a 45-minute ride to the town.

I usually travel with my Papang (father). When we reached the town, I took a sneak peak to the policemen giving signs to the vehicles and people. When my brothers do something bad, my parents told them that the policement will get them and they’ll be imprisoned. Not noticing that I was also frightened to policemen.

Once a Sunday of the week came, I have to be ready beacuse that is the day that we have to go to town where I and my 2 older sisters are living with my Aunt’s house that is near to our school. We stayed there during weekdays and go back to our house every Friday afternoon, after our class.
I have only 5 peso allowance in a week which means I only have 1 peso a day for my snacks and all the things that I want to buy. At that time a peso can only buy for an ice candy, or a “kakanin” (rice cake).
With that, I have to find ways for me not to be hungry during breaks.

In front of the gate of our school, there used to be a stall with a woman selling Indian mangoes. I don’t know how it was started but I just came inside the stall and tried to help the woman to sell mangoes. She will peel first the mango and put it inside the clean small plastic and when the other kids picked up those plastics, I will put some salt on it and get their payment.

I do that all the time during the morning break and when I hear the bell rings, its time to go back to our classrooms again. Before I left the stall, the woman whom I cannot remeber the name now, will give me 1 mango. That’ll be my snack and I will buy for an ice candy or rice cakes to add on. Thanks to the woman whom I shared my time with no regrets for giving me a very sweet mango, and most of all for accommodating me.

But not all of the season will be a harvest time for mangoes, so sometimes I brought some fruits in school which are freshly harvested from the garden and from the field. I always brought atis or chico which tree are very close to our house and Papang prepared it for me. He would always reminded me that I have to keep those fruits first for some couple of days till riped  and it will be ver delicious afterwards. Very sweet and yummy!

At noon, I will just take a 10 minute walk to my Aunt’s house where she has prepared already the food for lunch. It’s usually vegetable dish like Pinakbet, Young jackfruit with Coco milk, Mongo beans with Kangkong leaves or with Bittermelon leaves andFish. Squash and String beans are my favorite vegetables!

If I cannot afford to buy some snacks in school, it’s still best that I can have a very healthy and good meal at house. Thanks to my Tita Vil!:)

time you need to talk

words come out.

some don’t.

some, you don’t want it to come out.

words are very powerfull.

it can create a covenant, an aggreement, a policy paper, rules, and to extent, it can break lives.

but worse of it, when you’re not using words, sometimes its more that  you intentionally break someone’s life.

the moral is that, be careful with your words. be careful when to and not to talk also.

not all the time, it’s very necessary to say a thing.

do you know what’s the motto of some politicians?

“less talk. less mistake”

just be critical on things. the danger is that, when come a time that you really need to talk and say your position and views, sometimes, it’s not ok to use some politicians’ motto.

missing the opportunity of saying it is like missing a moment in your entire life of expressing what you want to say.

and it will be remain forever as a prison word.

so the best motto is “never have a prison word”

(i hope i’m making sense here. but i’m serious)

prison words must not be created.these words are fatal words.

it can make you dead!

but the question is when do you now that it’s the moment that you need to say your views?

scientifically, when you feel an impulse.

practically:when you feel you need to say and register something.

reality: when it’s only you who’s not saying anything and all of the people around have manifested theirs. and you might just want to melt and just disappear.

tip also that if you don’t want to talk, you’re not in the mood of interaction and discussing things, just don’t talk anymore.

you might just spill out bad words and can break not only yourself, but others too.

i don’t want to say a thing anymore for today. i might spill out bad words. :)

when you think a lot of IFs

when you do your task, make sure you’re doing it well.

if you can’t do it. just say it. it’s ok. but try to do it.

if you can’t bear anything and you’re occupied with some illogical and unneccessary things, just make your mind clear.

if you feel like you’re alone, seek for other people. find them. see them. they will not a dollar taxi that will come after couple of minutes to pick you up.

if you need help,be an out spoken. just like a very talkative student who knows everything and has an explanation to everthings.

if you’re drunk and can’t think and can’t articulate what you want to say. calm down. have rest. take a nap. sleep and have dreams.

if you fell like you’re old enough, visit zoo! you’ll realize that you’ re just like other kids amazed by different kinds of animals.

when you think, you act crazy, sometimes it’s nice to go with it. play with your craziness and you’ll feel hapiness.

when you’re eyes are dropping and you had dropped a lot of bottles, please don’t write. don’t do anything else except sleeping.

Nytie.

think like a child.look at people like a child.see the world like a child.you are wonderful.

think like a child.look at people like a child.see the world like a child.you are wonderful.

ist time

when was the last time you said it was the first time?

first time to love.

first time to go to your dreamed place.

first time to buy things from your own money.

first time to say, this will be first and my last.

when was it?

every ist times will always be memorable.not meaningful for others but that was one of the times you’ll never forget in our life.

sometimes, your first time may be your last too.

for my ist entry, and my very ist entry for a blog, i want this moment to one of the precious moments of my life. i feel like i made myself free.

your first time is like taking your freedom.free of doing things you need, want and like.

when you do it, it made you happy. it made yourself owning you own. yes. owning your own.

from this night, i proclaim myself GREAT!

Goodnight everyone.
